Featured Review

Former Employee - Ag Research Farm Hand

I worked at Montana State University part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Great work experience and flexible hours for students

Cons

A lot of transition between employees leads to a somewhat unorganized workspace. It could be better now though.

Former Employee - Solutions Developer

I worked at Zoot Enterprises full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great work life balance, good people, secure company, bring your dog to work, lunch room, frequent employee appreciation events, Nice office building, offer training for those that want it, moving... around the company isn't overly difficult. Management cares about employees on a personal level it's easy to feel like family.

Cons

Pay is okay for Bozeman but not on par with local competition for talent (oracle, web filings, apt us). In a college town where new young talent is easy to find which depresses the pay people can... demand. Losses of long tenure employees over the last year.

Advice to Management

Keep striving to improve, stagnant companies will be passed up by competition. The intellectual capital losses of tenure employees will hurt. Offer more Training to employees on your systems so when... those losses happen the company is not adversely impacted.
