Current Employee - Senior Research Analyst

I have been working at Montefiore Medical full-time

Pros

Lots of exciting and cutting edge work happening here.

Cons

It's a very large organization, therefore things can take a long time to process.

Current Employee - LCAT Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

I have been working at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Good pay, raises due to union support, excellent support within behavioral health Creative Arts Team, established structures for workload and coverage, not micro- managed, patient populations... creative & utilize groups well.

Cons

Stress of health care and mental healthcare facility can create gossip, scapegoating, projection amongst workers in general. Nurses are dedicated and fearless but always short staffed.

Advice to Management

Hire enough nursing staff.
