Former Intern - Admissions Office

I worked at Muhlenberg College for less than a year

Pros

-The Admissions Office workers are all very close to one another and it definitely can feel like a family -Always something that can be done when in the office -Office is very easy to... find -Prospective students are always in and out of the office (or calling the phone). Getting attached to them happens often and it is heartbreaking when some choose other schools

Cons

-When it's quiet in the office, which is not too often, it can feel somewhat slow -Workload can pile on and feel like a decent amount from time to time, but is definitely manageable -Traveling... routes/schedule can be overwhelming. Part of the job though and is a fun experience to have

Advice to Management

-You're all awesome!

Former Freelancer - Steward

I worked at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem for more than 5 years

Pros

Advancement is available, I moved through many different positions which enable me to understand the service business. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and the work I did there.

Cons

Work was not divided evenly, or upheld to the same standards as everyone.

Advice to Management

Divide work evenly and uphold everyone to the same standards.
