I worked at NRDC full-time for more than a year

Pros

Work on pressing issues, emphasis on writing, mentors for early-stage attorneys, office culture is collegial

Cons

Do not have money to hire all fellows full-time, quality of projects and organization can vary by team

Former Intern - Intern

I worked at Environmental Defense Fund

Pros

The people at EDF are dedicated to their work and passionate about what they do. My bosses went to great efforts to ensure that I had a fulfilling internship experience.

Cons

Lot of meetings and time consuming development programs.

Advice to Management

Doing great! I think that the business model of "free consulting" is remarkable.
