I have been working at NRG Energy full-time for more than a year
Pros
The people that work here make it a great place to work. Everyone is so supportive. There’s constant communication from management. You feel appreciated, and nothing beats the feeling of working for... a company that cares and supports you. Clearly, the well-being of its employees is the company’s top priority. There’s always something new to learn. There aren’t really enough words to describe how great of a company NRG is.
Cons
If I had to think of something, it would be the parking situation in the Houston office. I think it’s a bit pricey. I’ve never been a fan of employees having to pay for parking.
