Featured Review

Former Intern - Software Intern

I worked at National Instruments for less than a year

Pros

Good work life balance, especially for a software position. Company culture is friendly. Location (Austin) has plenty of outdoors activities.

Cons

Work can be mundane, but no more so than other software jobs.

Former Employee - SMTS DEVICE ENGINEER

I worked at Freescale Semiconductor full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Pre-merger, great place to work - employees felt empowered and management turned things around. Post-merger - not so much.

Cons

NXP management was very obviously out to chop down the organization and get ready to flip the company. Little to no regard for legacy FSL employees - we were turned out in droves. But hey, it worked!
