I have been working at National Library of Medicine full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Lots of really interesting work happening. Lots of very capable people.
Cons
Typical government bureaucracy issues. But probably better than most agencies.
Advice to Management
Flatten hierarchies when possible and engage more with your younger staff.
