Even through tough times, Nitro's culture and values shine through. You get the sense that everyone really cares and while the bar for performance and hard work is high, it doesn't really feel like a... "job" when you enjoy what you're doing and the people you work with. Like every company, Nitro isn't perfect, but I feel confident that everyone is well intentioned and doing the best they can for the most part. I'm here because I love the team, I enjoy my role and I really believe in our market opportunity. On that front, I think we've barely scratched the surface in what we can achieve, so I'm excited for the future!
Juggling multiple time zones can be difficult (but I guess it goes with the territory) and having a more disparate workforce can make communication challenging at times.
New Relic has been a great place to work. When I joined, the training and support was top notch. The team that surrounded me were immensely supportive. The product works well and the New Relic name... is established, making it much easier to build strong partnerships. Professionally, it has opened new opportunities for me and I feel that we truly lean into our employees to help grow our careers. Personally, the benefits, work/life balance and people make this a job I enjoy. That's rare to say nowadays.
None that I can think of that is unique to New Relic. Every company of this size, in this industry has the same things.
