I worked at Nucor full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great bonus program. Good benefits. Stocks you can get. Good 401K. The company cares about you. Team working environment. Just a great company to work for. In the future, the company plans on going... to 8 to 10-hour shifts. They want the employees to have time with family.

Cons

Got bought out a little over a year ago by Nucor. Takes time for them to slow the hours down. Working 12-hour shifts 5 days maybe 6 depending on any issues with machines going down. So if you can't... work that many hours probably wait a while for the hours to go down. Really busy right now.
