Former Employee - Maintenance Machinist

I worked at OSRAM full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Great Benefits. Lots of great people to work with.

Cons

Started sending a lot of manufacturing jobs outside of U.S. Good severance package but career is over.

Current Employee - Sales

I have been working at Captec Ltd. full-time for more than a year

Pros

Nice Car Park. In every department there are decent, good people, who would be so much happier and deserve to work in another business.

Cons

Could be here for month. The worst culprit is an owner who sacks anyone who stands up for themselves and allows toothless yes people to draw a salary without seemingly doing anything. No product... releases all year, for example Everything about this company is backwards. The owner still thinks he can behave like it's 1990, seeking arousal should he get the chance to dismiss anybody. "Tech" company that uses handwritten forms, and supplies mobile phones from the turn of the decade. Rubbish CRM system that makes everyone's job either incredibly difficult or time consuming. Thousands are wasted each year in productive time.

Advice to Management

Your customer list is so fragile it beggars belief.
