What Employees Say
I have been working at Pacific Dental Services part-time for more than 8 years
Pros
I was a 30 year private practice dentist when I moved to California and was hired by PDS. I have come to see soo many pros to this forward thinking company that I would never go back. to private... practice. The support professionally is unrivaled. Exposure to new technology and training was so amazing Support by the company and my professional peers during medical challenge I went through was invaluable. Had I been in private practice I would have been in serious jeopardy on many levels. The management team and founder have developed an entity that describes how I see dentistry for the next generations of dentists and I feel fortunate to be a part of it
Cons
Not so many cons after 10 years . What I originally saw as cons, have become common sense practices and procedures that are necessary to move forward with this type of organization
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing, and that includes growing and changing and evolving
I have been working at Heartland Dental full-time for less than a year
Pros
Everyone is so excited for what we have coming in the future. Because we are a bigger company, it can take time to roll out new things, but they're all worth it. At the center of all of the work and... focus is making sure that we are helping our supported doctors have the time to take care of their patients their way without worrying about the paperwork and logistics that come with owning a dental practice. No idea is a bad idea, leadership is very open to hearing what you have to say to improve a process. Also, leadership is NOT inaccessible. They are around and involved and have not sold their souls to the status quo. Being proactive and identifying opportunities is valued over being negative and subscribing to the "this is the way we've always done it so why change" mentality. It has been a breath of fresh air coming from another corporation where a lot of people conformed to "that's just the way it is" before even considering if an obstacle could be bypassed.
Cons
I have yet to come across a con.
