I have been working at Pacific Premier full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Working for Pacific Premier Bank has been a privilege. Upper Management are all amazing leaders and they do NOT have the “upper management” mentality that they are too good to help their employees. ... What I like the most about PPB, is that regardless of your title at the bank, everyone is treated equally and professionally and people genuinely care about one another. The people I work with are hard workers, kind, and helpful. I can see why some people wouldn’t like working here because of how hard we work, but it is rewarding at the end of the day. PPB strives to see their employees grow professionally and personally. Not to mention, the benefits that PPB has to offer, are excellent!

Advice to Management

keep doing what your doing, cause it works.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Torrey Pines Bank full-time

Pros

I have had a great experience working at Torrey Pines Bank thus far. It has been my experience that my mangers and HR want to see employees grow. I've seen many employees promoted from within their... own departments or promoted to higher positions on neighboring teams, myself included. I have also enjoyed becoming a member of the Women's Alliance and participating in meetings to network with my peers and those women in executive positions. Overall, I would recommend Torrey Pines as an employer to my network.

Cons

Individual teams/departments organize their own employee recognition efforts, but it would be great if Torrey could do something on a more consistent basis across all teams.

Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to continue to support programs such as the Women's Alliance and to incorporate more employee recognition programs. My co-workers and I love to participate in these... opportunities for professional growth and I think it would go a long way to recognize employees more often for the great things they do at Torrey.
