Pros
Penta's hiring process was wildly efficient and was obvious they know what they're doing. After two interviews with senior management, they were very transparent about the role, company culture, and... where they are with respect to strengths, weaknesses, and ability to serve their market. I felt confident they instilled confidence in the direction of the company without a bunch of fluff and how this role coincides with where they are headed. Post interview(s), they made a timely, competitive offer right away and the onboarding experience was outstanding and very fast! Every person was very helpful and responsive to get me up and going. As a virtual first company, I received all of my equipment and credentials before my start date along with a welcome package that included two books. What's notable is those books also reinforced the culture they strive to maintain and investment in development and uniformity. Day one had great follow up from leaders and it was apparent this was a motivated, results driven company who rejects mediocrity. I was treated as though I added value and was on team calls from day one giving input and expected to hit the ground running. Overall - benefits are great. Leadership is accessible and keeps it real. The people were welcoming and you're expected to communicate directly and frequently. These are all a win.
Cons
The one thing I'd say thus far is the number of places information is stored. I'm not sure I'd say this is a con necessarily, but something to adjust to in an effort to stay organized. There are a... ton of good tools and resources, however, there may be an opportunity to streamline data storage. Also - I was told a few weeks in that there were some really good cookies that were supposed to arrive prior to my start date along with the welcome package. They didn't make it, but all is still well in the [Penta] world.
Pros
Great manager and supervisors. There is always work to do so your never bored and there is barely any down time for you. Minimal micro managing, They work with their employees when there are familial... or personal issues going on outside of work. Free parking for long term employees.
Cons
Working late nights out the week
