Former Employee - Front Desk Agent

I worked at Planet Fitness part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Good Job, nice people, good pay

Cons

there wasn't any, Atmosphere was really good

I have been working at Salon Keiji

Pros

Continuing education Flexible schedule One of few salons where girls aren't catty to each other High commission rates Many walk-ins for new stylist Vidal sassoon training Keiji provides free... photoshoots for stylists Keiji buys lunch for all employees on Fridays and Saturdays Wella educator visits salon and teaches color classes Salon enters competitions such as NAHA Easy to leave and get vacation time Long maternity leave for stylist. Some people have left for 4+ months knowing they still have their job. Salon attends hair show in Chicago every year. Not required but everyone is welcome.

Cons

6 month training period for new stylists- you don't make as much money during this time but you learn a lot and it is worth it in the end
