Featured Review

Current Employee - Instructor/Tutor

I have been working at The Princeton Review part-time

Pros

I have taught for TPR for about 3 years and I have loved working with the students and staff there. I have gone through different trainings and everyone is so great to work with. The material is easy... to understand and teach and in my opinion, their strategies are the best.

Cons

Unfortunately, there aren't always available classes to teach. You could go months between classes. They pay well, but even when you are teaching a class or two, it's still not enough to be your full... time job.

Former Employee - Administrative Assistant

I worked at Sylvan Learning Centers part-time for more than a year

Pros

The Management and employees were pleasant to work with and genuinely cared about each other and the children they were entrusted with.

Cons

The only down side was my inability to carry high school textbooks that were extremely large and heavy.

Advice to Management

A cart on wheels would have made this job so much easier since the high school textbooks were shifted every hour to different tables in the classroom.
