Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Progress full-time for more than a year

Pros

A dynamic and innovative place to work where people are at the heart of the game. They are asked for their opinion and have a say in the way many things happen in the company. Very good benefit plan.... Giving back to charities and communities.

Cons

Going in the right direction in its overall strategy but need time to really settle and make it work as expected so employees see it adding value and have more trust in it.

Advice to Management

Communicate more openly and often with employees.

Current Employee - Product Manager

I have been working at RealPage full-time for more than a year

Pros

I made the journey out to Richardson after an acquisition, and it's turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. The facilities are amazing (Starbucks, cafeteria, gym, suites for traveling... employees), it will rival any campus in Silicon Valley. Being a newcomer to the company, the professional culture and welcoming atmosphere have been a great change of pace. Participating the Corporate Challenge was definitely one of the highlights of the year for me. I got a chance to meet with people from other departments that I wouldn't normally get a chance to interact with. Ultimately, it's the people that really make this a great company to work for.

Cons

If there was one gripe, I would say trying to find a permanent team/department after the acquisition took a little longer than expected.

Advice to Management

The company has been great about soliciting constructive feedback from their employees.
