Current Employee - Assistant Controller

I have been working at Prospect Capital full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

The company is made up of intelligent and very motivated people. All the departments are integrated, and everyone is kept in the loop on any developments. Management always asks for feedback and... tries to improve processes.

Cons

This is a fast-paced environment and can get stressful at times, as would be expected of a publicly traded finance company.

Current Intern - Talent Programs

I have been working at Kiva for less than a year

Pros

- Great transparency - The org really does everything they can to make this internship beneficial for you - The Kiva community is vast and inclusive. You'll immediately feel like a part of the... family. - The folks working at Kiva are incredibly well-rounded and come here with a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of fields. It's a great place to build your network.

Cons

It can be difficult living off of a stipend, so it's important to consider why you're applying for this position. If your priority is to gain experience and knowledge, then this is a great... opportunity! The internship is really what you make of it. Everyone is willing to make time for you and chat with you, but you have to put in the effort to ask.
