Current Employee - Property Manager/KTP

I have been working at Public Storage full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Consistent hours/Flexible schedule. Reliable teammates that are happy to help you. Empowered to work independently. Transparency with job expectations.

Cons

Most business is done on the weekends.

Advice to Management

Continue to work on upward mobility of property employees.

Current Employee - Property Manager

I have been working at Continental Property full-time for more than a year

Pros

I have received training at the expense of the employer which rarely happens today. They do encourage your training and are behind getting the best people for the job.

Cons

Insurance benefits are limited due to past employees with terminal illnesses which make it impossible to have company provided insurance. They do pay a portion if you can afford the difference out of... pocket. I happen to be single, so therefore I have no medical insurance. Salary is not enough for regular life expenses, living expenses, and medical insurance.

Advice to Management

Even being in smaller towns the salary is low and could be much better. Competitive salary for experience should be better.
