Current Employee - Assistant Manager

I have been working at Reading International part-time for more than 5 years

Pros

This was my first job and my favorite job! I stuck with this Job for 5 years and got promoted every year for my first two years. It's a fun work place and you get the benefit of seeing movies for... free!

Cons

Very close work place, can get dramatic

I worked at Reading Cinemas for less than a year

Pros

Great job to have during school. Flexible schedule, decent enough pay. it's a job where if the staff is full of good people you won't want to leave.

Cons

can get very busy during a rush. not a career, which can sometimes reflect on the attitude of people working.

Advice to Management

lead by example. Don't expect people to follow your lead if you don't put any effort into it yourself.
