Former Intern - Intern

I worked at Realty Income for less than a year

Pros

There is a really great company culture at RI. Everyone is very knowledgable and more than willing to share their expertise. Great exposure to upper-level management. Half-day Fridays are also a... huge bonus.

Cons

There were times when things were a bit slow and I really had to seek out work to do. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

"Analyst"Sep 29, 2016

I worked at LaSalle Hotel Properties for more than 3 years

Pros

Great exposure to hospitality and real estate finance industry. Access to senior management a plus. Also, strong mentorship for entry level employees who show interest.

Cons

Due to the small size of the company, when people leave the work is sometimes unevenly distributed; although this could have changed. Additional responsibilities do not mean additional compensation... or title promotion.

Advice to Management

Keep encouraging strong mentorship and growth opportunities. It was a great "first job out of college" and I was glad to hear more analysts were added to the bullpen.
