What Employees Say
I have been working at Redfin for more than 3 years
Everyone is accountable and we get reviewed by each client. Not doing a good job you get let go and most real estate companies don't do that. Plenty of hours to work on weekends, weekdays, weeknights... & holidays.
When real estate season slows down, not as much work to be had.
Advice to Management
Nothing negative. We have managers who over see Redfin Associate Agents and recognize people individually when getting great reviews from clients and doing an outstanding job. Only improvement is to... hire more people from the associate agent role positions for lead agent roles especially when associate agent is doing a great job in the field and getting excellent reviews. Very hard to get into other positions when being an associate agent when it should help by hiring more internally. I've been with company for 4 years and have been turned down several times for other positions by management.
I have been working at IDX Broker full-time for more than 5 years
I have been working at IDX for a while now and thoroughly enjoy it here. As a team member I have a good work life and personal life balance. I love the flex hours and they come in handy when you have... to get an appointment and need to miss a few hours from work. Work from home is also a plus when I am not able to come to work due to bad weather or a sick kid. The people in my team are an amazing bunch but overall, IDX has some amazing people that I get to work with day in and day out. There is a fantastic basement, tons of snacks, catered lunches 3 times a week and family events to look forward to as well. The work is challenging and that make it even more fun! Overall it is a great place to work.
Communication between teams could be improved and pay could be more competitive.
