Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Roper Technologies full-time

Pros

Good compensation and benefits. Nice work environment. Fairly flat organization where you can shine and be recognized. Good growth opportunities; Roper likes acquisitions therefore there is... always new challenging work to keep things interesting.

Cons

Some departments have high turnover which ends up effecting other areas negatively. No flexible work hours. We have been trying for years to move to a 10 hr days or any kinda flexible schedule to... have a Friday off and no real reason is provided as to why it can’t be done. This effects our work/life balance very negatively.

Advice to Management

Recognize your employees strengths and weaknesses and do care about retention! Some rules that are set by Roper headquarters are extremely debilitating to our day to day business efforts. We should... work smarter and more efficient it shouldn’t be difficult to do our jobs because someone at corporate decided it should be a certain way. When we mention the changes we would like to see it goes no where we’re just told “ that’s Roper policy” it doesn’t make it the best way! This culture/mind set needs to change!

Former Employee - Test Technician

I worked at Princeton Instruments full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Competitive pay, flexible hours (within first shift bracket), friendly and helpful co-workers.

Cons

Upper management changes out frequently, might take some time to get used to. Does not always take opinions of "lower level" employees very seriously.
