Former Contractor - Driver

I worked at Rush Trucking for more than 3 years

Pros

Family business and I learned a lot of things about the business hands on

Cons

Family is hard to work for they pay you when they want too and they under pay

Advice to Management

You are in good hands

Current Employee - Operations

I have been working at Tennant Truck Lines full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

I enjoy working at Tennant, fast paced atmosphere, but co-workers are wonderful. Lots of freight to move around, and we have some really good drivers.

Cons

Could use updated technology such as newer workstations, but it helps having 3 p.c. monitors to work from. Would like an on-site i.t. department.

Advice to Management

Would like to see some employees hired that have more experience in the transportation industry, or at the very least a better training program for new employees with less experience.
