Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at Salem Media Group full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Its a company that challenges me and allows me to grow. To be competitive in our marketplace without intruding on my personal values. Salem is a company that regards local ideas while offering the... support of a major media company. Now with our digital advancements its an exciting chapter for Salem. And did I mention the people are amazing?

Cons

How difficult it currently is to find more of those amazing people...

Advice to Management

Thanks for not compromising on the mission. Making integrity and values a priority. And allowing us to impact our local communities. I started this journey with the average degree of skepticism... for any new job and now 18 years later I'm still proud of my part... and my company.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at iHeartMedia full-time

Pros

Strong engineering management cultivates young talents. Autonomy and openness to try new things keeps stacks current (Scala, React, Kotlin, Swift, etc all in the cloud). Digital team has access to... the rest of the company. There is a great chance that the code you wrote today will be in front of millions tomorrow. Lots of training opportunities and social clubs to help develop both skills and relationships.

Cons

Moving fast means some tech debt, without discipline you can rack up a lot. Benefits could be improved.

Advice to Management

Continue to recruit the best of the best!
