Current Employee - Director, Product Management

I have been working at Salesforce full-time for less than a year

Pros

- Product guides the direction. This may sound like a given but most last tech companies, Engineering leads drive and PM support. - Benefits are great and help me find a good work/life balance -... Going from a great company to Salesforce, working for a company that cares is so important to me. I get that so many times over here.

Cons

- In San Francisco. Not really a con, but I live in South Bay. Commute is long. Luckily they are WFH friendly.

Advice to Management

Keep up the perks, benefits, and comp. All of those really make me proud to brag to friends, family, former colleagues. Keep me a happy worker.

I have been working at Box full-time for more than a year

Pros

Amazing culture. One of the best anywhere, and by far the best I've ever experienced. Compensation seems consistently above market average. BEST ESPP I've seen of any tech company I've worked for... (including Apple). Free in-house lunches and snacks. Very strong and innovative product. Lots of opportunity to move laterally and vertically. This company wants to help you achieve your longterm career goals. Best job I've ever had, for real.

Cons

Locations for headcount can be pretty strict.

Advice to Management

Keep driving our values as and their role in the business decisions. That is a huge part of what keeps Box such a great place to work.
