- Product guides the direction. This may sound like a given but most last tech companies, Engineering leads drive and PM support. - Benefits are great and help me find a good work/life balance -... Going from a great company to Salesforce, working for a company that cares is so important to me. I get that so many times over here.
- In San Francisco. Not really a con, but I live in South Bay. Commute is long. Luckily they are WFH friendly.

Keep up the perks, benefits, and comp. All of those really make me proud to brag to friends, family, former colleagues. Keep me a happy worker.

-Updated company on latest tech trends and practices. -Good colleagues with good experience in their respective field. -Possibility of learning new things. -Very experienced founders with great... sense of business. -Sometimes HR looks for input for improvements -Decent benefits overall. -Pleasant CEO. -Free daily fruit. -Competent staff
-If the tech orientation culture doesn't suit you, you will be frustrated. -US business model with HK management practices makes the company feel like a factory. -Impersonal relationship with... management: everyone is seen as a role, not a human. -Employees might not feel supported. -The company is great at jumping to new things to stay updated and survive in a demanding industry, but this implies that some staff becomes obsolete in a short time. -Practical mindset putting emphasis on engineering over artwork can leave designers/artist unfulfilled. -No time for conceptual work or experimentation. -Many deals and partners but many low quality or unfinished products. -Expected (however not explicitly demanded) that everyone should be reading the company's flooded Slack channel even during weekends and holidays. -Several unexplained layoffs during my stay. Many people quit too. -Very far location (but nice overall)
Advice to Management
Please remember that employees are not AI or numbers on a sheet. Leave technology to business, and relate humanly. Parties are nice but people need to relate everyday: make things more transparent... and allow for teams to organize work systematically. Monitor those mid-management staff who tend to activate themselves towards the end of the day: it's not nice to be pulled to your desk when you're about to go home. Keep the workplace organized and efficient, less scatter-minded.
