Pros

Just started and this company is amazing. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Best choice ever

Cons

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

Current Employee - Associate

I have been working at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman full-time for more than a year

Pros

This is an incredible place to get experience in all forms of litigation. Moreover, you can do so in a non "grind you to death" atmosphere where the partners actually care about your growth as a... lawyer and lack the incredibly oversized egos of Big Law partners and shark-like mentality of their associates.

Cons

Really not much....I guess it's not a place to come if you're heavily focused on specializing. It may also be different as a corporate associate, as the group is significantly smaller (on purpose),... but - from my interaction with corporate associates - they seem to enjoy their jobs immensely.

Advice to Management

Continue to maintain the "familial" atmosphere you've cultivated - its one of the greatest assets of the firm and will draw numerous skilled attorneys who are tired of the rat-race of Big Law (which... many of them are). Do not get too lured by big business or front-page cases and maintain the course of your slow, controlled growth plan.
