I worked at Sheridan Healthcare full-time for more than a year

Pros

While at Sheridan, I had an incredible supervisor who to this day has been the best I have ever had the pleasure of working for. I left only to pursue a full-time graduate degree and still stay... close with those I worked with. The work was engaging and always presented opportunities to work on new projects while developing new industry skills. My supervisor and department encouraged questions and provided a wonderful environment to work.

Cons

During my time I really didn't experience any cons that impacted my work. The issues that arose were resolved, I didn't see any that continued to be issues.

Pros

I have worked at NAPA for about two years. In the time I have been here I have seen great efforts be made to improve the company culture. This includes the new casual dress code, and the increased... ability to work remotely. We have a “Why Stay” committee in our Melville office which consists of a member from each department to brainstorm ways to improve the employee experience. They have made several great changes in a short time and are continuing to do so. The best thing about working here is the flexibility and work-life balance. We have so many opportunities for advancement as the company is constantly growing and evolving. We also have a very generous PTO policy.

Cons

The medical benefits are expensive, but I believe that is consistent with the current market. I would like to see more wellness initiatives.

Advice to Management

I would like to see executive management be more approachable and relatable.
