Former Employee - Marketing Coordinator

I worked at Simon & Schuster full-time for more than a year

Pros

very friendly upper management and a lot of opportunities for growth

Cons

dated software systems used to track titles and manage backlists

Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

I worked at Bloomsbury

Pros

You get hands on experience in a nurturing atmosphere. I had a helpful mentor and from beginning to end I received a lot of guidance. They made the work fun. I gained a lot of insight into the... publishing world that books and classes couldn't fully provide.

Cons

I didn't have any bad experiences during my time here.
