Current Employee - Business Analyst

Pros

The state has great benefits. Lots of time off and holidays. The pay is competitive but once you reach the max for your position, you no longer get pay increases besides a small cost of living... increase.

Cons

You don't really get rewarded for working hard. Everyone gets the same compensation for their position and years worked.
