Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

I worked at State of Ohio

Pros

Very flexible hours so I was able to easily balance my academic commitments and athletic commitments to Ohio State University while completing this internship. I also was able to gain a better... understanding of how the state government functions and learned valuable skills, such as customer service, by consistently communicating with constituents.

Cons

Some of the tasks were repetitive and although this allowed for me to master these skills, it did make some of the work more tedious than I would have preferred, yet I still believe it was extremely... beneficial as the pros by far outweigh the cons.

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and continue inviting interns into the office to work for the Representatives as this is a truly unique and beneficial experience!
