Former Contractor - Python Developer

I worked at State of South Carolina

Pros

Great company with lots of benefits

Cons

Needs upgrade in some technologies.

Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at Covered California full-time for more than a year

Pros

I’ve worked at multiple State agencies in my career, and Covered CA is a breath of fresh air when it comes to State government. They embrace new and innovative ideas and allow lower level employees... to have a voice to senior leadership. They also promote work life balance and fun - there are food trucks that come on site, ping pong, a creative cafe, dress up days, and more. I don’t see myself changing agencies any time soon.

Cons

Running out of meeting space at the Exposition office.
