Pros
Pretty easy job and people are great to work with.
Cons
Not a lot of costumers come in during the winter so you don´t get as much tips as you do in the summer.
Pros
My experience prior to and during the internship program was very experimnetal, organized and a great way really step into leadership. I had a wonderful mentor and store director that truly supported... me throughout my growth and drive to learn more. I was able to really step into my own leadership growth, thanks to my mentor who also is a wonderful leader that I really valued in how she approached and supported her team. Throughout my internship I really was able to hone into the culture of Target and how to be a leader at Target to best support the business. It really was the welcoming culture for me, especially as a woman of color. I was really able to authentically be myself and everyone else in the Target culture were able to do the same. Culture and inclusivity were never a question. I worked for one of the best stores (T2079) in my district D141! My store really valued all of Targets values and standards and it really showed within the metrics of the store's logistics. Although I was an intern, my team (General Merchandice) that I was over really valued me as their ETL Manager. They relied on me to come to me with any concerns, updates etc. I was able to have ownership over paper & chem, seasonal back to school, and making sure all dual locations were up to date. I was able to run and entire night shift a couple of times on my own and it was absolutely great! I was always open to taking on my own leadership in anything I wanted to do. I utilized the gifts like my target notebook that I was gifted during the orientation. I took soo many notes that really helped me always go back to when I wanted to know something especially the Target lingo. There was so much to learn, but I was fully open to it all and was a sponge to information and soaked it all up which benefited my experience so much!
Cons
I do not have any cons about the Internship.
