Current Employee - Software Developer

I have been working at TIAA full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Benefits, Work-life balance, campus is great

Cons

Work stations may be outdated

Advice to Management

Keep being supportive of young talent

Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at SunAmerica Financial Group full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

SunAmerica Mutual Funds is a great company to work for. As a subsidiary of AIG, they have exceptional benefits and provide the best resources for their employees. A small- to mid-sized mutual fund... company, SunAmerica offers strategic investment opportunities. Learning "the trade" has been a challenge, but well worth it.

Cons

Two cons: management is a top-heavy {as it is with other places, too...} and there is no such thing as work/life balance. To work from home, one must finagle a shady deal. It's disappointing in... this current age of technology.

Advice to Management

Definitely re-visit the option to work from home. Working a 10+ hour day in the office doesn't make for a happy life.
