Current Employee - Key Category Specific Account Sales

I have been working at The Columbus Dispatch full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Great pay if you work hard and plenty of extra incentives for motivation. A wide variety of products allow for greater opportunity to meet your clients needs. Management is concerned with creating a... happy work environment and listens to feedback in regards to improvement. Several properties within the media group allow for employment change without losing your benefits. If you act like a professional adult, you are treated like a professional adult.

Cons

Can sometimes be slow with internal processes which can be frustrating, although that seems to be improving. Not many management opportunities for someone looking for possible advancement due to... limited positions.

Current Employee - Engineer

I have been working at HMB full-time

Pros

You're going to succeed or fail here on your own merits. Great pay, competitive benefits. Lots of freedom, lots of independence

Cons

Sometimes confusing business structure (some kind of matrix that isn't clear to me) Need to work on modernizing internally facing systems
