Former Employee - Adjunct Faculty

I worked at Indiana University of Pennsylvania part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

IUP is a great place to work. My colleagues were wonderful, and the adjunct salary was competitive.

Cons

There are no, to few, health benefits. As adjunct faculty, upward mobility is limited. Location can be an issue for some, though you're not far from Pittsburgh.
