I have been working at Torrey Pines Bank full-time

Pros

I have had a great experience working at Torrey Pines Bank thus far. It has been my experience that my mangers and HR want to see employees grow. I've seen many employees promoted from within their... own departments or promoted to higher positions on neighboring teams, myself included. I have also enjoyed becoming a member of the Women's Alliance and participating in meetings to network with my peers and those women in executive positions. Overall, I would recommend Torrey Pines as an employer to my network.

Cons

Individual teams/departments organize their own employee recognition efforts, but it would be great if Torrey could do something on a more consistent basis across all teams.

Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to continue to support programs such as the Women's Alliance and to incorporate more employee recognition programs. My co-workers and I love to participate in these... opportunities for professional growth and I think it would go a long way to recognize employees more often for the great things they do at Torrey.

Current Employee - Executive Director

I have been working at Bridge Bank full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Clear compensation plan and much freedom of thought that brings out the best of results oriented people.

Cons

Not an ideal workplace for people that need concrete structure and constant supervision.

Advice to Management

You are at your best when you provide clear guidance, and allow employees some freedom to work as individuals.
