Current Intern - Financial Analyst

I have been working at Tucson Electric Power for more than a year

Pros

As an intern, I love the company culture at TEP. Everyone is very supportive and close-knit. Every manager I've interacted with has been supportive of their employees and people outside their... department as well. Recent college graduates are able to apply for a 3-year rotational program in the finance departments to understand each division and see which one suits them the best.

Cons

Until you become a manager, you do not get paid well (while the CEO makes $775k/year). You work holidays such as memorial day, veterans day, 4th of July, etc.

Advice to Management

Rather than paying the c-suite so much, pay the employees more. And create more of an innovative culture rather than one where it feels like you're stuck
