I have been working at US Department of Veterans Affairs full-time for less than a year

Pros

Supporting the Veteran experience is an honor. I come home each day feeling accomplished.

Cons

It can be difficult to maneuver through the various obstacles that present itself when working within a structured chain of command in an a government agency with over 400,000 employees. But those... difficulties can be overcome by intra and inter-office networking. Everyone has the same mission to support the Veteran experience, so it’s just a matter of working together to do so.

Pros

Small Government contractor with lots of innovative thinking! Great health benefits! Nice, smart people! CEO is approachable. Flexibility for family commitments. Gym and deli on site and garage... parking.
