Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at US Department of Veterans Affairs full-time for less than a year

Pros

Supporting the Veteran experience is an honor. I come home each day feeling accomplished.

Cons

It can be difficult to maneuver through the various obstacles that present itself when working within a structured chain of command in an a government agency with over 400,000 employees. But those... difficulties can be overcome by intra and inter-office networking. Everyone has the same mission to support the Veteran experience, so it’s just a matter of working together to do so.

Current Employee - Contract Specialist

I have been working at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The skills you can develop while working at Air Force Office of Scientific Research is good and there is a lot that you can do to expand your knowledge.

Cons

I work in Arlington, VA location so the area is congested but it is not the worse.

Advice to Management

Hopefully there will be more people that come from various agencies outside of the Air Force that will apply and have the opportunity to get a position.
