I worked at University of Michigan part-time for more than a year

Pros

- Tuition stipend - Rewarding to teach courses you are passionate about - Fair stipend to live in Ann Arbor - Health Insurance coverage is pretty good - The professor I worked for always reminded... me to prioritize my studies to my job (will depend on the professor you work for), which led to stronger

Cons

- Computer Science department has been growing at a very fast pace, which leads to a lack of resources (space, staff, etc.). This made teaching in that department hard at times. - Work/life balance... gets hard while teaching and doing grad school at the same time, but that's also dependent on your own management of your time, experience teaching, etc. This is also kind of expected when going to grad school (also, worth it for a full tuition waiver.)
