The pay is good. Lease car options are a plus. Good 401k and insurance.
The hours are horrible. If you are single and have no life then this is the ideal place to work and save up. 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. And don't you dare make a single mistake no matter how... exhausted you are. A thing as simple as forgetting to include clips that are already supposed to be installed on the sunvisor or picking a evi4 instead of a dvi4 sunvisor can get you terminated. It does not matter that the line does not stop and you can fix it by walking 6 steps and giving the correct part. The line will claim downtime to cover for downtime caused by the line's own mistakes. If you are a family person, give up all hope of seeing your spouse and/or kids for more than 7 hours per week. Because after 12 hours, you are so exhausted that you just want to eat a quick bite and sleep. They want robotic precision using human resources. And they rule by fear. You will constantly have your job threatened over some of the smallest issue.
Advice to Management
Please, stop running your employees like robots and ruling by fear. That only gets people exhausted and not caring. Which in the bottom line effects the quality of vehicles produced. Because when... people don't care, they make careless mistakes, get fired and you have to train new employees after a long time of running short handed due to your refusal to hire as needed and the fact that the worker pool is getting shallow.
