Former Employee - Account Executive

Pros

The people are really good people. I enjoyed working with my fellow colleagues! It's very neat to work at a TV station and see how the magic happens. Also, it's a well known TV station and is good... for the ego!

Cons

Too many management meeting that left managers unavailable to staff that needed assistance or approval on things. Ad rates vary so much and it can be difficult to justify to customers(part of the... business in general, but still difficult). At the time, there was a shift in many upper management positions, which made this position seem shaky and employees felt uncertain about their futures.

Cons

Same editorial blockades that are present at many newsrooms across the country as news is slow to adapt in general
