Former Intern - Lifeguard

I worked at Walt Disney Company for less than a year

Pros

Great company, and a great benefits. Learn a lot about customer service, and proper time to ask for days off.

Cons

Work life balance not the best, even when you ask for time off you are not always guaranteed the time off. Plus, if you don't get approved then you have to find someone to cover the shift for you.

Information Architect

I have been working at Disneyland Paris

Pros

Great resume builder Challenging projects Wide variety of projects Fast paced, but fair (the odd late night s to be expected) Good work/life balance

Cons

Too many meetings Creative teams are detached from clients Many, many legal restrictions stymie creativity Lots of revisions Sometimes the process gets in the way of actually creating deliverables

Advice to Management

Get creative teams closer to clients. Focus on processes that get results, not the process itself. Really, this is a great place to work.
