What Employees Say
I have been working at Western Alliance Bank full-time for more than a year
Working in the info-sec department, management shows a real care about daily needs and is always looking for ways to improve. Management is very flexible with time-off. Given more than enough time... for training. The company provides free parking and metro passes to the employees at the DT PHX office. Benefits and pay is competitive with industry standards
Since the bank is relatively large at this point, the topic of audit is a big one. Many standard procedures are constantly inhibited by audit which seems to dominate anything done in IT and similar... roles.
I have been working at Torrey Pines Bank full-time
I have had a great experience working at Torrey Pines Bank thus far. It has been my experience that my mangers and HR want to see employees grow. I've seen many employees promoted from within their... own departments or promoted to higher positions on neighboring teams, myself included. I have also enjoyed becoming a member of the Women's Alliance and participating in meetings to network with my peers and those women in executive positions. Overall, I would recommend Torrey Pines as an employer to my network.
Individual teams/departments organize their own employee recognition efforts, but it would be great if Torrey could do something on a more consistent basis across all teams.
Advice to Management
My advice to management would be to continue to support programs such as the Women's Alliance and to incorporate more employee recognition programs. My co-workers and I love to participate in these... opportunities for professional growth and I think it would go a long way to recognize employees more often for the great things they do at Torrey.
