Great company with leadership who truly cares about both their employees and their customers. The company acts ethically and transparently and provides thoughtful solutions to the issues facing the... business.
Core solutions are getting a bit long-in-the-tooth (server-based vs. SaaS) without a comprehensive plan to update. Recent growth has slowed which impacts the number of new opportunities provided to... staff but this may change as new initiatives take off.
Advice to Management
Create and share (and regularly update) the long-term vision for the company.
I have been working at Vertafore full-time for more than 3 years
Fun, friendly, supportive office environment. Good benefits and PTO. Room for career growth. Appreciate the responsiveness to COVID-19 as we were quick to move remote and haven't been rushed back... into an unsafe work environment. My immediate managers have been very understanding of the need for work-life balance as well as physical and mental health.
Can be difficult to work with departments stationed in headquarters. Upper management and executive team changes too frequently. This location's general manager isn't very present.
Advice to Management
It would be nice to see the general manager more than once a quarter.
