Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at YETI Coolers full-time for more than 3 years

The people are amazing. Some of the best I have ever met. The foundation of YETI is rooted in their Core Values but are agile and driven to improve every day. I have learned so much from my time here... and it still feels like we are at the beginning of this great ride.

YETI is fast paced and has high expectations. Not a con if you are up for the challenge but it certainly is not a place to just come and put in the hours. They expect each and every one of us to make... YETI stronger.

Advice to Management

Stay focused on your people. They will take care of YETI nation.

Current Employee - Team Lead

I have been working at Valen Enterprises full-time for more than a year

The company structure is black and white and a development path for growth is laid out and offered form the beginning- it's direct and analytical approach to structural advancement is something i've... enjoyed. The organization has an entire department direct toward leadership, professional and personal development- I have 10 years of professional experience and have yet to have a company sit with me to develop the aspects they care to assist you in envisioning and working for.

I'm a fan of the organization, but Company complaints boil down to one thing: effort. This company isn't recommended for those just looking for a "job", the company gives great training and support,... but expects great effort. Most negative reviews about the company reek of the reasons why they didn't last to begin with, unwillingness to give the effort long enough to develop.. There's a saying that old habits die hard and crying wolf just because you didnt hit your goals isn't a reflection of the company if fair opportunity and training are given..but a reflection of the efforts over time put in, it isnt for everyone, it's called delayed gratification.

Advice to Management

Perhaps on the full day second round interview have candidates engage in the sales process to see peoples willingness to push their comfort zones . I respect that yall lead from the front and find it... motivating to know that from the head down they walk and talk their word
