Current Employee - Swim Teacher

I have been working at YMCA part-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Uplifting work environment and you feel like you’re doing something positive for the community.

Cons

Not paid enough but the work you do doesn’t always feel like work!

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Kansas City Public Library part-time for less than a year

Pros

Laid back, supportive staff, great benefits for part-time employees. I used to work for them back in 2001, but I moved, which is the only reason I left or I would have stayed. 14 years later, I come... back to the same branch I worked for, even though its a different branch manager (who is just awesome as the one I had back then) and most of the people I worked with back in 2001 are STILL there! So I guess another pros is the turnover is very very low.

Cons

Can't think of any!

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Can't think of anything right now.
