Former Intern - DSP Intern

I worked at Yamaha for less than a year

Pros

Life in Japan is really good. Workload not big

Cons

Most employees don't speak English

Current Intern - Anonymous Intern

I have been working at Fender Musical Instruments

Pros

I've never had a more involved internship than at Fender. The teams here treat their interns with immense respect and give them projects and levels of responsibility equivalent to full-time employees.... One other facet of this internship that I love is that they provide you with a Starbucks gift card for the purpose of conducting informational interviews. I've learned so much while at Fender!

Cons

If you are a person who wants constant structure in an internship, this may not be for you. Every day is different and you will be expected to be flexible. If that doesn't sound like you, then I... would potentially look at other internships.
