This is a company that truly cares for and takes care of its employees. They treat you well and are genuinely interested in holding onto all of their people. Whenever the business shifts, they always... attempt to retrain people rather than let them go.


Company is growing very quickly and struggling to grow their staff as fast as their business. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though. Need more work from home opportunities. This is a common... feeling among most of the employees. Just read any of the glass door reviews.

Thomsons is a very special place and like no other. It is amazing to work for a company where so much care and consideration is taken over it's employees. The company has been through a lot of change..., however it continues to thrive and it is such a good place to spend each day Although you will read a lot on here about the work life balance being bad; actually the flexibility that is provided here is amazing and it's wonderful to see so many people being able to find the balance with kids and commitments!


You HAVE to be up for mucking in when needed and really owning your own destiny and development. It will not work for someone who wants to clock off at home time everyday and never do a minute more

Advice to Management

Keep the culture alive. We have had a lot of change after the Mercer acquisition and there have been a few wobbles in the culture feeling like it has taken a hit at times; please help us to keep all... the good people here and great culture
